750 Words
750words is basically an online site to journal on. I'm not one to journal normally but the cool stats page after everyday and cumulative stats over time make me like it. The purpose of the site isn't just to journal though. It is to get your mind flowing. Write whatever you want. Don't care about reorganizing it or anything. You can use Facebook, Google or Yahoo to log in. Don't worry, everything is kept private by default. So, nothing is shared unless you share it.
I found this on Lifehacker. The data afterwards like I said before is my favorite part. All the graphs and charts are cool to read about pages of stuff you just wrote. If you click on my picture to the left you can go to a larger view of it. I'm not sure why my entry was rated PG-13. I went back and read it again but couldn't find anything like sexual content, violence and cursing like the rating says. Also way underneath which I didn't screenshot there is a word cloud which is also neat.. And as you write more stuff will come out. It is a visual form of thinking. Hopefully I will continue doing it and it will help get me around some thoughts I never explore and just forget. You also get points for doing certain things and keeping up with it. Go there and check out the site, read the Lifehacker post and read his FAQ.
I did this, I got Pg-13 too, but that’s probably because I cussed like twice, oh well. I like to write in my prayer journals but I like this because it’s A LOT faster and it’s neat to see your stats at the end.
Journaling/letting your mind flow, is definitely a good way to reveal and organize what’s truly going on in your head and heart, that site made it faster for me to get to and included diagrams.
